SatNav 2

Well, I have used the SatNav a few times now. The wife hates it and I love it. I think she does not like being told what to do or where to go. (grin) I have to change the voice from a female one to a male one. That, at least, made it almost acceptable.

It has proved it's worth in towns where you are trying to get somewhere and don't know the area. We were down in Birmingham at the start of the month and it was brilliant at getting us around the city suburbs. I used it to go to Harrogate in Yorkshire (400 mile round trip) and it took us to the Hotel door. Excellent.

The voice can get a little annoying if there are a lot of instructions and sometimes it does not react quickly enough if there are a series of slip roads one quickly following the other but I think it has been worth the investment. I take it with me now on trips, although don't always use it, but at least it is there if I find myself in need of some assistance.

I don't think it always gives you the best route, especially if you are towing a caravan. I think it would be useful to have an option for the route to allow for that. At the moment all I can do is limit the speed used on the route calculations (60mph limit).

Anybody else had any issues/comments on SatNav's?

The Power of Conversational Hypnosis

I was browsing the web tonight and came across what must be one of the longest sales pitch pages I have ever come across. The link is Click Here!

It is to a page that purports to give you the secrets of hypnosis. Now I don't know how good the course is but they seem to be selling an awful lot of information. Go have a look to satisfy your curosity.

I will admit that I have been hypnotised on several occasions. Twice on stage and I also went through a course of hypnotherapy. I love the feeling of being hypnotised. It is such a relaxing experience. It can drag up memories that you have tried to hide or things you are unhappy about (at least in my case) but each session was recorded and I was given the recording to play in the privacy of my own home. As I said, I loved it.

Just to say, for the stage hypnosis, yes I ate a Grapefruit, yes I talked Martian, and yes I did some ballet dancing and a few other stupid things. However, I remember all of these clearly and I still remember them clearly 25 years on!!!

Roulette Sniper 2

It looks like there is a new version of Roulette Sniper out. Called, imaginatively enough, Roulette Sniper 2. I don't know if it plays any better or the changes are purely cosmetic but it looks like you will have to buy the updated version, even if you own a copy of the original (like I do).

Click on the link above and it will take you to the web site for the new version.

As I said, I don't know if it plays any better. I have to say that it is not the winning system that the 'blurb' suggests. But then, what roulette system is? Even Money Maker Machine still has it's problems. It's a lot better than most but it is still a 'work in progress' and you can loose on any of them.
