The Aspects of Blog Marketing

Blog marketing is truly only as difficult as you make it out to be. However, if you have never had a blog before, and never marketed anything in your life before now, it may be a little more difficult to understand. If that is the case, you should start off with a blog and just journaling in it to see what it is like. Everyone loves to win things, and you can also make the prize that you are giving away relevant to the market you are promoting on your blog. Some do not realize how effective this aspect of blog marketing can be. While others are reaping the rewards.

Another huge aspect of blog marketing is the track back feature. When you have the track back feature on your blog, you are allowing other people to link to your blog. Maybe someone has a post to post on their blog that is relevant to one of yours. They can use the track back to your post, and send their readers to your blog so that they know what they are referring to. Another good thing to remember is that if someone gives you a track back, it is a courtesy to return that to their blog if at all possible. This is something that most bloggers all ready know and something that new bloggers should know.

Something else that is a big thing in blog marketing that is frequently overlooked is using SEO on your blog, which stands for search engine optimization. SEO will help get your blog out there and read, and will also help you get a better ranking with Google. Being as high as you can be in the Google search engine results is something that you want. Doing this will allow your blog to get out there so that people searching for things that are relevant can find it.

While there are many aspects of blog marketing, you are going to see that these are all the most important. If you have all of these tools and techniques in place, then chances are you are getting some great traffic. If not, just keep working on it. Your hard work is going to pay off and you will be glad that you did.

Using internet marketing techniques on offline businesses...

As an internet marketer, I know just how lucrative it is to make money marketing online businesses. However I have to let you on a secret I just stumbled upon. I have just found out that instead of concentrating only on online businesses, it is just as easy to earn easy cash using internet marketing techniques on offline businesses!

The main reason for this is because to offline businesses, internet marketing proves to be something new. They are not aware of this market and avenue of free marketing, which brings increased sales and profit for them.

We as internet marketers have nothing to lose as all we have to do is to teach all of them the tricks of internet marketing. Basically, offline businesses at present carry out similar marketing and advertising tactics like using coupons for promoting their businesses and perhaps getting listed in the yellow pages.

They save while we earn

However what they do not know is that they can save money through internet marketing (while we make money!). Instead of spending money printing coupons, we can teach them how to use online coupon companies for free. And instead of getting listed in the yellow pages, we just have to show them the global audience the business gets by listing their business in online yellow pages and directory sites.

Did ya miss me?

No? I thought not. I have been away on holiday for the last week. I live in Scotland and we took our caravan to a site called Yellowcraig, near North Berwick (just to the east of Edinburgh). Beautiful weather (apart from a few showers) and I even got sunburnt. Not bad for Scotland in May (grin).

Traffic Exchanges 3

One of the things I have noticed about Traffic Exchanges is that one of the majority of adverts come from ..... Traffic Exchanges. They all seem to spend most of their time advertising themselves. After that it is the "guaranteed" to make you money schemes that don't seem to. Well not for me. Maybe I am thick, maybe they are not so simple (or cheap) to follow. One thing I do know, I have more "free" ebooks that tell me how to make money than I have time to read.

It is true, you join all these schemes then find that the effort required to put them into practice is too great and you then ignore them. I have at least 4 of these on my hard drive.,and about 6 dozen ebooks, videos and text files. I start out with the best of intentions but when you have a 150 page ebook to wade through and then 5-6 videos of about 30 minutes each (explaining visually what you have read in the ebook), I just about loose the will to live.

They seem to be generally saying the same kind of thing. The details may be different and the approach may be different but the overall picture is the same. You keep trying them in the hope of finding one that actually does what they promise (I have yet to find one).

Disillusioned, moi? You betcha!!!!!

Information Overload!

You know, I think one of the biggest problems with getting started earning any money on the internet has to be information overload! There are just TOO many 'opportunities' out there in cyberspace.

I have been looking into this for about 2 months now and it is impossible to settle down to one or two items. You quickly become bombarded with offers for this or free reports on that and, of course, every get rich in the next 30 days scams you can think of. I'm sure most of them will work, for somebody. Not necessarily you - that's the problem.

It is all very well paying to get access to a scheme but when you have to wade your way through 10 hours of video tutorials, 5 ebooks and then sign up to different other sites, that in turn start to bombard you with 'offers' etc. it begins to get a little confusing.

So far I haven't made a cent out of this. I have 2 web sites up and running, I have numerous sub sites off these with articles of interest, I surf about 8-10 traffic exchanges a day advertising my sites as well as others with affiliate links and it gets to the point where it is looking like a full time occupation (expect I don't get paid!!).

And all this is based upon the promise that it is 'easy' and it all works on auto-pilot. What a load of BS.

There must be people making money out of all this, I just have not reached those giddy heights (YET!).

I came across another product that looked like it could be worth looking at. It is a bit americanised but it could easily be applied to the UK. Have a look at the Photo Wealth System and see what you think.
