New Toy

One of the presents I bought myself this Christmas is a new camera. It is a Panasonic FZ28. Nice camera but I am just getting used to it. I was sitting at my desk the other night and the dog we are 'dog sitting' for at the moment came upstairs and I took some photo's of it. Misty is her name and she is supposed to be a Jack Russell but to me she looks like she has some Cairn Terrier in her (we used to have a Westie).

Now all I have to master is how to use the camera and the software that came with it. A friend has also recommended Adobe Lightroom 2. I have cropped this picture and touched it up a little but I don't know how to get rid of the glaring eyes!! I suppose I will find a way somehow.

That Graphic!!!

I hate that Christmas Graphic. It makes it very difficult to get into my Blog to update it. I think I may have to delete it. Ho Hum, Bah Humbug etc etc. It worked. The graphic is gone and I can now get access to my Blog. Isn't the internet wonderful.

By the way I hope you had a good Christmas and, seeing as I live in Scotland, I am looking forward to a good Hogmany bash.

Enjoyyyyyyyy

The Bedroom Tycoon

Talk about presents, well this isn't exactly a present but it is a very interesting proposition. Try the link to The Bedroom Tycoon and see what you think.

I have also just come across a problem. You see the nice graphic below, well it also gives a graphic on the upper right of the screen. If you click on it, it will take you to the site I got the graphic from. Only trouble is this graphic is right over the button I have to click on to sign in to this account. I found a way around it, eventually but that had me going for a bit

Try this link. At least have a look at it and see if you think it might be worth having a look at.

I hope you have a prosperous and happy Christmas and New Year, regardless of race, colour or creed.

I am playing Santa again for my church's Sunday School and I have been roped in to do it for the creche as well. Then the minister gets me involved in the service as well. Talk about getting your money's worth .

As it is the time of giving. I am going to give to you a small gift. This is a file which contains a Clipart collection of over 1600 Clipart and graphics. You may find it useful. I hope so. Please click on this link and save it to your system. It is over 17mb in size so it may take a while to download, dependent upon you connection speed.

Remember to visit my other web sites www.superior-seo.com and www.webfindthebiz.com
and have a GREAT time these holidays.

Photo Wealth System

I came across another product that looked like it could be worth looking at. It is a bit americanised but it could easily be applied to the UK. Have a look at the Photo Wealth System and see what you think.

Using just your digital camera to take photos in your local area (and you don't have to be David Bailey) you can make some money by uploading them to certain web sites. If your pictures get used, you get paid. It's as simple as that.

Go on, be a devil and have a look.

Remember to use this link here to have a look at the site.

Hey I am There!!!!

As you may know I have set up a site called www.superior-seo.com and I have been mentioning it in this blog. As it is about a document on search engine optimization I was curious how long it would take to actually get into the search engines. Well it took about 3 weeks from the time I started. This site is now appearing in the Google search page!! Mind you this blog appears first. This blog is actually on the first search page of Google when I searched for "superior seo". The actual web site was on the seventh page. Not so good but at least it is there. Now I just have to start applying the suggestions in the document to get it even higher.

However on Yahoo I am NUMBER 1. That's the way to do it!! Now I just have to try the other search engines.

Remember my sites are www.superior-seo.com and www.webfindthebiz.com. Go have a look, even if it is just to satisfy your curiosity.

Red Alert 3

OK, I admit it, I am a big fan of the Red Alert/Command & Conquer franchise. Electronic Arts have just brought the new Red Alert out and I bought it on line. I downloaded it a week ago and have been engrossed with it since then (when I have not been rehersing King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table that is).

Great fun. Don't look for any Oscar winning acting on the video scenes but it is all in the game.

I have finally managed to get www.superior-seo.com into google's index. I was surprised how long it took but it is there now and hopefully I can tweak it a bit more to get it up the ratings. Go have a look at the link above. It's not as much fun as Red Alert 3 but might be worth a visit.

Time for a rant!!

Anybody else hate this!!!! The next blog button is fine to do a bit of random dipping into other people's blogs. I quite like seeing what other people do BUT I hate it when I keep getting blogs in languages that I cannot understand!!! Can there not be a setting that says your blog is in say 'English' and then the Next Blog button only pulls up other blogs that are in English etc. That way I do not get frustrated by waiting for a site to load and find out a) that it is in a language I do not understand and b) there may not be a "next blog" button.

I don't know why some sites have the next blog button and some don't. There must be some setting somewhere that can be changed but I don't know where it is.

Treading the Boards... Again

Well I am back into the Am Dram scene again. I have joined a local Amateur Dramatics club in Johnstone. Their next production is a pantomime called King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I'm just in the chorus. It is a rule of the club that the first production you are in you are in the chorus.

The next production is Oliver, so with a bit of luck I will get a principle part in that one.

The panto is running from November 30th till December 6th in Johnstone Town Hall. If you are in the area, come along. Not that I expect many of you reading this to be able to come aong but the invitation is there never the less!!

The last time I was in a show must have been 7-8 years ago. I was in Fiddler on the Roof and played Lazer Wolf, the Butcher. It was great fun.

Money Maker Machine - Update

Well MMM has raised it's head again. The system has moved on dramatically since my last post and now has the ability to program how it will bet. It is up to the user now to design his own methodology, or they can use one of the hundreds of palettes that have been tested by the members of the forum. You can use a mass of casinos and test everything out using simulated mode (you use the real money account but do not place any actual bets).

You do not even have to spend a fortune to try the software out. You can buy a few days access, so you can see how you get on and then upgrade if you are successful.

Try this link here. It will take you to the MMM main page and you can see for yourself how it has all changed. Also there are a lot of testimonials from actual users (and these are genuine-I know some of the people involved). Even I'm in the list (grin).

If you are interested in Roulette software in any way you owe it to yourself to go and have a look at this.

Would I spoil this child - Probably

Yep that is my wife and I preparing to spoil this kid. I have 2 step kids from Valerie's first marriage but none of my own (that I know of anyway!!) so it looks like Uncle Richard and Auntie Valerie will be regular visitors over the coming months and years. To say my wife went mad buying presents for the baby is an understatement. So much so we thought we had to buy Khyia, Garry and Pam presents as well so that they wouldn't feel out of it.

It filled the boot of my Kia Sorento, we had so much stuff. Every time we were in a supermarket that sold baby's clothes we would pick something up. In the end I had to curb Valerie's enthusiasm as it was getting embarrising. The good thing was that we knew it was going to be a girl so we could buy accordingly. Looks like Christmas may be expensive this year (grin)

SatNav 2

Well, I have used the SatNav a few times now. The wife hates it and I love it. I think she does not like being told what to do or where to go. (grin) I have to change the voice from a female one to a male one. That, at least, made it almost acceptable.

It has proved it's worth in towns where you are trying to get somewhere and don't know the area. We were down in Birmingham at the start of the month and it was brilliant at getting us around the city suburbs. I used it to go to Harrogate in Yorkshire (400 mile round trip) and it took us to the Hotel door. Excellent.

The voice can get a little annoying if there are a lot of instructions and sometimes it does not react quickly enough if there are a series of slip roads one quickly following the other but I think it has been worth the investment. I take it with me now on trips, although don't always use it, but at least it is there if I find myself in need of some assistance.

I don't think it always gives you the best route, especially if you are towing a caravan. I think it would be useful to have an option for the route to allow for that. At the moment all I can do is limit the speed used on the route calculations (60mph limit).

Anybody else had any issues/comments on SatNav's?

The Power of Conversational Hypnosis

I was browsing the web tonight and came across what must be one of the longest sales pitch pages I have ever come across. The link is Click Here!

It is to a page that purports to give you the secrets of hypnosis. Now I don't know how good the course is but they seem to be selling an awful lot of information. Go have a look to satisfy your curosity.

I will admit that I have been hypnotised on several occasions. Twice on stage and I also went through a course of hypnotherapy. I love the feeling of being hypnotised. It is such a relaxing experience. It can drag up memories that you have tried to hide or things you are unhappy about (at least in my case) but each session was recorded and I was given the recording to play in the privacy of my own home. As I said, I loved it.

Just to say, for the stage hypnosis, yes I ate a Grapefruit, yes I talked Martian, and yes I did some ballet dancing and a few other stupid things. However, I remember all of these clearly and I still remember them clearly 25 years on!!!

Roulette Sniper 2

It looks like there is a new version of Roulette Sniper out. Called, imaginatively enough, Roulette Sniper 2. I don't know if it plays any better or the changes are purely cosmetic but it looks like you will have to buy the updated version, even if you own a copy of the original (like I do).

Click on the link above and it will take you to the web site for the new version.

As I said, I don't know if it plays any better. I have to say that it is not the winning system that the 'blurb' suggests. But then, what roulette system is? Even Money Maker Machine still has it's problems. It's a lot better than most but it is still a 'work in progress' and you can loose on any of them.

Roulette Sniper

If you're like me, you're probably reading this article because you enjoy playing roulette. Roulette is primarily a game of chance. When you employ certain strategies to the roulette wheel, you can increase your odds of winning dramatically - and everybody wants to win.

As I was scouring the Internet looking for a winning roulette strategy I came across a piece of software called Roulette Sniper. I installed the 60 minute trial version that the Roulette Sniper website gives you and tried it out. I couldn't believe how accurately, just the trial version was predicting where I should bet. Within the first 10 minutes I won enough money to actually pay for the Roulette Sniper software.

Now I've been using Roulette Sniper for the last a couple months and I think it is one of the most valuable tools out there for winning at roulette. I'm not going to show you the income that I earn using Roulette Sniper, but I am going to tell you that works some of the time. It is not 100% but it does increase the odds.

Some basic tips that I recommend with Roulette Sniper is to use conservative settings, but increase the low/high numbers by about five points. Depending on what casinos you play at, this may decrease the number of betting opportunities you get but will increase the amount of winnings you get, so it is best to choose a casino where you can disable the animation.

Like always use wise money management strategies when gambling at the casinos and you will prosper and walk away wealthy.

If you want to give Roulette Sniper a try, go to the website at http://mcm1nt.rsniper.hop.clickbank.net and sign up for the trial version.

Diabetics Unite

Well, whilst finding out that R-bet was a scam I started looking at other things. As I mentioned earlier, I am type 2 Diabetic so I was very interested when I came across this site. Click Here!

It is called the Diabetic Warrior and talks about ways you can reduce your dependence upon oral drugs and insulin by using what they call "Primal Foods". There is a whole lot of extras if you sign up to it. Certainly I suffer from some of the symptoms that they mention on their page. Have a look for yourself. Use the link above or on the right and make your own mind up.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Insulting title isn't it? However it is an intriguing title. It is a web site I came across today. Now, I have to admint to being a little overweight myself (ok I am so overweight I got type 2 diabetes). The doctors have been at me for years to loose weight. Well I tried them all. Calorie Counting, High carb (Atkins) Weight Watchers etc. etc. To me diet is a four letter word as bad as the other one!!!

Well this site looked interesting and it basically tells you that it is not how much you eat, but what you eat AND WHEN you eat it. It claims to help you loose 9lbs every 11 days. If you want to have a look yourself then Click Here!

Have fun.

Fed up with MMM

Well MMM is still testing and changing. I have been with the program since June last year and we are still not there.

I will stick with it but have come across something else. I don't know, yet, if it is also all hype but try this. DONT TRY IT. I HAVE FOUND OUT FROM ANOTHER SITE THAT IT IS A SPAM.

This warning does NOT apply to MMM (that is definitely NOT spam). I am referring to the R-Bet software that used to have a link there.

SatNav

Well, this makes a change, a blog about something other than Money Maker Machine . I have finally given in to my desires and bought myself a SatNav. The main reason for buying it was to use when we go touring with the new caravan. We have planned 5 holidays this year in the van. A couple of them are sites we have been to before but I felt that the SatNav should help us get there (it is not unusual for us to 'take a wrong turning' when going somewhere) and also will help us find our way around in an area where we do not know where the car parks or supermarkets or garages etc. are.

I have bought a TomTom 520 with just the UK & Ireland maps. If I need the European ones I can always buy them later. At present I have no plans to take the van into Europe, although that may change as and when I retire.

It arrived from Amazon last night and I have still to understand the details of it but the route it picks to get me to work is totally wrong. The route suggested is through the worst congestion for Glasgow so the jury is still out on how well it works. Certainly the route to Inverness (our first real outing next month) seems to be one of the better alternatives. We shall see.

MMM Update - Part 2

OK, OK, it's been a long time coming!! I have been VERY remiss about updating the blog. That is principally because MMM has been a long time changing. It is still not there yet, but there are some interesting changes that are looking in the right direction. I cannot give details here but it looks like a 3 way analysis of the RNG of the casino is giving us better results. Not perfect by any means and, some would still argue, within the vagaries of random numbers.

The original concept just did not work. It was close but no cigar. So, for the last 3 months users have been testing out various methods and the results are encouraging. The Admin has finally incorporated some of these changes in the program and testing has commenced.

As they say, watch this space!!

McMint
