Traffic Exchanges 2

Well, I have been 'working' the traffic exchanges now for about a month. I have had lots of 'hits' to my web sites and , guess what, not a single sale. :{

I have had literally thousands of hits on 5 different web pages. I have been tracking the hits and can see which exchange they are coming from. I have come to a conclusion that really it might be a complete waste of time. If the other people using traffic exchanges are anything like me (and I have no reason to suspect that they are not) then the sole purpose of surfing the exchanges is to get 'hits' on THEIR web pages. They are not interested in what I am selling. They hardly look at the pages as they fly by. There are numerous methods out there to surf 5-10 exchanges at the same time so that you literally only spend a few seconds on each page before you click on it and move on to the next exchange.

The only thing that might catch their eye and interest them is if you are selling schemes that promise the earth without any effort. Guaranteed money making schemes, only $27 a month etc. etc. Aye Right!! Who are they making money for? Certainly not me!!

It is amazing how many 'millionaires' there are out there selling their MLM schemes, Matrix schemes, copy this 'simple' method and you will earn thousands!! etc. etc.

I am sure somebody must be making money but they are few and far between. I have seen it said that 97% of people fail to make money on the internet. I can understand why.

There are so many ebooks out there being given away free just to get your name and email address so that they can email you with their latest, must buy, greatest thing since sliced bread etc so called 'wonder' products. If they all worked we would all be millionaires. But, of course, they do not.

Oh, and one other side effect of all this is a massive increase in 'junk mail'. I created a separate email account to use on these sites and I am glad I did. It is getting massive amounts of email. OK, yes I signed up to them and agreed for them to send me emails so it is not 'spam' mail but it is certainly 'junk mail'.

I think I will have to go back to the drawing board and see what other approach I can take.

Byeeeeeee
