Money Maker Machine

Well things are definitely happening over at MMM. We are collecting numbers at the moment and have nearly reached our target. I personally have collected nearly 3.5 million numbers covering 3 casinos. The Administrator is beginning to let out details as to how the whole thing will operate, although it is still a bit vague. I am trying to get to grips with it all, but it is definitely worth getting into at this stage. The cost WILL go up once the tool has proved it's worth. At present the Admin does NOT recommend trying to use real money with this tool. In fun mode you can easily make hundreds in an hour and there is now a simulator mode that allows you to test things out in real mode without actually spending any cash. At present my cash deposits at these casinos has been absolutely zero. The system is still proving itself and testing is going on as to how to use it.

Betfair

Just a quick question. Has anybody ever tried Betfair? I have been using it for a while now with very mixed success (as you will have noticed). I am playing about with the Poker (Texas Hold'em) using a betting bot which is in beta test at the moment. Anybody else using one? Had any success with it? I have tried about a dozen strategies and each seem to have their moment but ultimately fail. Am I doomed to fail? Is the random nature of the game going to be my downfall? Comments anybody?

A week has gone by

I can hardly believe that a week has gone by without me doing an update to this blog. Not much of a blogger am I? Don't answer that !!!

The horses have been uncooperative so I am paper trading them and I am testing some beta software for trading on the Betfair games in particular the Turbo-Poker. Last week it was brilliant and I was able to raise my bank from £100 to £300 however Betfair carried out an 'upgrade' this week and everything suddenly stopped. In fact it started to loose money. So I am back paper trading that as well to try and find the settings that will produce consistent profits.

I will find something yet.

Friday Afternoon

Well, it is Friday Afternoon. The middle of June and it is raining cats and dogs outside. You would think it was autumn not the middle of summer. Less than a week to the longest day and the summer solstice and it is pouring down.

Mind you, it does mean I do not have to water the garden and as I managed to get the grass cut earlier in the week, the garden actually looks quite good. Well, for me that is (grin). Hmmm, I wonder how you can get the various 'smiley's' that you see around into a blog? Anybody know?

The horses are playing silly buggers and I had to top up my betfair account on InPlayMaster as it managed to hit me with some long odds winners. I have changed the settings and so do not get as many bets but then I don't get so many losses either and when I do they are much lower odds so I can loose up to £10.00 instead of £24.00. The manual does state that each persons settings are individual. I get the impression that there are not that many users out there as the owner is a little cagey about giving out the actual settings that he has found to work.

The problem is, as always with these things, consistency. You will always get losses, it is making sure that the wins outnumber the losses in value. I was getting 12 wins and 1 loss and I was still down on the day! These days I seem to be laying the second place horse. I don't know how close it is but as long as it looses I don't mind.

Darn those Horses

Oh, the unpredictability of those horses when they are racing. You would think that when they are fourth in the last furlong they would have the decency to stay there instead of going and winning !!! (grin) OK I think you can guess what I am leading up to.

2 days on the trot (if you will pardon the pun) I suffered 2 winners that I had backed to loose. It wiped out all my profits and forced the Stop Loss trigger to kick in and prevent any further losses.

Then, yesterday, the opposite happened. Everything went to plan and the Stop Profit trigger kicked in when I have reached my maximum daily profit target. Why have one of them, well it can be very frustrating to build up a nice profit throughout the course of the day, to see it wiped out by a loosing bet right at the end. I set myself a maximum daily limit and said I would not be greedy as risk always involves a gamble and you can loose the lot.

If you remember I have had a couple of days where I have had to work had to recover from some losses. If you have made a reasonable profit, take the money and run.

InPlayMaster delivered yesterday and we are back in profit on my starting bank. Not by much so let us hope it can work it's magic today.

InPlayMaster

Wow, what a roller coaster ride this InPlayMaster is!! I had 20 bets today and lost 2 of them but it still managed to recover those losses and I ended up in a profit. OK not a lot but still a profit.

In the 1st week I have increased the betting back by over 50%, Yes I know it was a SMALL bank to start off with so a 50% increase is not that big, but hey, it's the principle of the thing!!

Let us hope the refinements I have made to the settings will produce a profit tomorrow. I have limited it so that if I reach £20 profit on the day it will stop. Now £20 is not a lot but if I can get near it consistently I will be a very happy bunny. In fact I will be a happy bunny just making a profit each day!!

I did think that InPlayMaster was going to let me down today but a late run on the last 3 races of the day took me from loss to a profit!! Let's hope I don't need that kind of recovery tomorrow.

Auto-BF/InPlayMaster

Well Auto-BF has blown it! A run of 6 loosing races caused the staking system to blow the bank away. That's it cleaned out. So bye-bye Auto-BF. It was doing well up to that point. A nice steady profit most days then it fell from grace. Sigh.

Ah well, on to other things. Auto-BF is history what is next?

Well I have come across a system called InPlayMaster. So far I have been running it a week and from a £50 betting bank I have increased it to approx £80. It would have been a LOT better today but for 4 losers out of 21 bets. I still made a profit, just not as much as I would have liked.

It is a bot system where you set up some rules and during the running of the race, if the selection criteria are met then then it will place either a back or a lay bet, dependent upon which way you choose. The trick is selecting the rules. You would not believe just how many races there are in the UK each day. They must be about every 10 mins during the week and last weekend it was nearer every 5 minutes.

The manual gives you some suggestions but it is really up to you to 'refine' your own rules. It has a 'paper' trading option where it will run your rules on a live race but not place any actual bets so you can see how your rules are doing and tweak them accordingly. I don't know if I have been lucky but I have had some days with no losses and others like today with 4. Some days I made a profit and some I did not. It's like all gambling you have to take the losses with the wins.

You don't have to be sitting there watching it. Once you have set up your rules, add the races you want to follow and leave it to do the rest. I set it up in the morning and leave it running the rest of the day (up till 9.00pm at the moment as that is roughly when the last race is).

It only works with UK & Ireland racing where Betfair provides in race betting. I'll let you know how it is doing later.

About The Horses

Hi there,

You may remember that a while ago I started looking at various ways of trying to earn a little sideline using Betfair and laying loosing horses in the UK racing scene. Well, surprise, surprise, it didn't work out and eventually all the schemes I tried failed. Some took longer than others, but that's the way it goes.

However, I have come across a piece of software that seems to be running at a profit. So far I have increased my betting bank by 50% in just a month. The software is called Auto-BF. It is a monthly subscription software that basically acts as a betting bot and will try and put place bets on the favourite for each race. If it looses then it uses progressive staking to try and recover. So far I have only had 1 day when it did not return a profit, and that was because I was fiddling with the settings so I can't really blame Auto-BF for that. I use the default settings and the only change I make is the amount of Profit Per Race that I want to make each day. This is recommended to be a percentage of your betting bank and they suggest that you use between 0.01% and 0.05% of your bank.

I stared out with a very small bank and have just about covered the cost of the 4 weekly subscription. As the bank grows, so does the PPR and eventually so does the bank. The bigger the bank, the bigger the potential return.

As always, there is no guarantee and some days Auto-BF has made a profit, but it has been very small. Nothing is guaranteed and a long run of loosing bets can very quickly wipe out your bank. I think the longest run I have had without a winner has been 4 races and my bank can take about 6-7 loosing races.

The good thing about the software is you set it running in the morning and leave it alone. It does everything else for you. So I set it running on my home PC and go to work. Come back at night and see how I have got on. I like Auto-BF for it's simplicity. One thing though, you need to have Excel installed on your PC. Open Office will not work.

I will try and occasionally update how I am getting on with Auto-BF.

Lost Again

I really don't know if I should be trying this Horse Betting Lark. Today I had a choice of 3 horses in 3 different races. I chose one of them as I only make 1 bet a day. Well 2 won and one lost. It does not take a genius to guess which one I chose!!!! I am definitely not making anything at this lark. Mind you, I am not exactly spending a lot either. One of these days I will stumble across a more consistent way of doing things (Grin).

No I'm Not

Sigh!! Just when you thought you were getting a handle on this thing it goes and proves you wrong. I suppose that is the fun with gambling. Nothing is guaranteed and even the so called 'experts' get it wrong. Still, persevere, they say and you should come out on top. Eventually, maybe!!!!! Don't hold your breath.

I am getting interested in the Sport of Kings

Well, OK, I admit it I have been slowly getting into the various schemes for betting on Horses & Football matches (Soccer to you Yanks (Grin)). Hence some of the links to the left. The horses have been the most successful but none of them are very consistent.

I have been looking at various schemes but quite frankly most of them are little more than guesswork (well on my part that is). I am sure they mean something to somebody, but I am the proverbial rookie and am still coming to terms with the terminology yet alone anything else. Anybody come across a simple system that does not require you to be sitting at your PC as the race is about to start?

There are numerous web sites offering the 'Golden Fleece' ie win £5,000 every month, without any knowledge of horses. Well, I match the latter part but not the former!!!!

I limit myself to small bets which don't cost me too much (and don't win too much either!!) but it is too easy to get sucked into this gambling lark. I think I will stay on the edges and live with my £5 bets.

I Don't Believe It!

Yep, still raining. I took the main roads into work this morning. It is longer but only took me through 1 slightly flooded back road. Tonight may be a different matter, only time will tell.

If sheep get wet, do they shrink or do the coats just go shorter and more curly? Oh Blogs and the Art of Zen (Grin). - I told you it may be ramblings!!!

A couple of links added. They are both to do with Betting, either on Horses or Football (Soccer to you Yanks!). I am following them with interest to see how successful they are. I subscribe to http://www.bizoppjungle.com/ run by a guy called Charlie Wright. If you are into running a part time or second job from home then this site will make good reading and may save you a fortune in dodgy schemes.

Ah well, back to the grindstone.
