Well, back successfully from not so sunny Blackpool. It was an alright break but not much of a holiday. Some days we had gorgeous sunshine, others gale force rain. Well it is September so I shouldn't complain. We normally go across to North Berwick in Lothian, Scotland and for some reason we always seemed to get reasonable weather. Maybe we will go back there next year.
It certainly brought out the class divide. I'm firmly middle class and most of the people were working class or old age pensioners. Nothing wrong with that , but I felt it was just not my scene. Fish and Chips and Hen/Stag parties all abound.

Well, the MMMAdmin has just hinted that by the end of the week he will release the analysis to members. Also that the next stage of testing will commence which will lead to testing to develop some winning strategies and after that to play for Real Money.
It is getting near. One thing that he did say is that we will need to collect 1% of numbers for all the casinos that we wish to play at. That is a LOT of number crunching so it looks like it is back to number collection and soon to be playing on the 3 casinos that we already have the numbers for. It takes about 4-6 weeks to gather all the numbers per casino, although you can collect at more than one site at the same time thanks to Windows multi tasking. That is all 100 members collecting as much as they can. Come and join us. Use the icon on the right and have a look.
Typical, he starts more work just as I go on holiday for a week. Ah well, c'est la vie.

From tomorrow night I will be on holiday for a week. So there will be no more updates. I am taking the caravan and the wife to Blackpool to see the Illuminations. In all our years we have never seen them. We used to go to Blackpool quite regularly but it was always early in the season. Let's hope it does not rain too much!!

Well the numbers may be gathered and the analysis continuing but it is very difficult to be patient. It does not help that the MMMAdmin's PC crashed and he had to re-install XP (it's so unusual that!!
I certainly don't want something that is not going to work, but I will be hugely disappointed if we have to go back to number collecting because the theory didn't work.
Time will tell.

Well the money maker machine Admin has advised us that he has the requested number of spins at the 3 casinos that he requested. So now he starts the analysis of over 80 MILLION numbers. I don't know what he uses to do this analysis but it will not be easy. Even splitting them over 3 casinos.
However we all now hold our breath to see if he is able to prove his supposition that, from a list of 1% of the possible spins on an on-line casino's site, he can 'predict' with accuracy what the next colour will be. He has over 60 casinos in the list that use the same Random Number Generator and we have collected enough for 3 of them! One thing he has found is that the 3 casinos may use the same RNG but they do not produce the same result. They are each independent. That may need to having to collect 1% for each casino. That will be quite a task for such a small team of active collectors.
I was at the top of the daily list of numbers collecting peaking out at about 180,000-190,000 a day for 3 casinos. Imagine if we have to do this excercise for 60 casinos!!!! That will be a lot of computing.

Ahh, nostalgia. I have just watched a concert on DVD by the Moody Blues. They are one of my favourite groups from the days when I was a teenager. OK that is going back a bit. In fact nearly 40 years. The sad thing is I still know the words to all the songs. My wife asked me if I was in pain. Me, I thought I was singing along quite nicely. Better not bother trying to get on the X-Factor then!!!!
It reminded me of a concert I saw on video 20 years ago by the Electric Light Orchestra. I think it was the Out of the Blue Concert. I am not sure. But I still remember their version of Roll Over Beethoven. Absolutely brilliant. I have never seen them live but I would like to.
I have most of their CD's (and ALL the Moody Blues ones). Maybe I should dig some out and have the rest of the evening surfing nostalgia.

Well, I have just checked the Money Maker Machine web site (link on the right) and the price has indeed increased to $300. I did warn you. OK it was not a lot of warning but I put it on the blog as soon as I heard.
It is still worth buying. Yesterday on of the co-admins advised us all that he had found a sequence of 350 numbers that matched exactly to those that had been recorded by another member. That meant for that sequence of numbers he could GUARANTEE what the next number would be. That is an AWESOME feat for Roulette. No wonder it is called a Money Maker Machine!!!!

The Admin of MMM has just announced that the price of the Money Maker Machine software will be going up from the 1st September. The price increase is from $97 to $300. Better get in quick if you want to join this revolution!
The collection of numbers from the 3 designated casinos is nearly completed and the analysis of the data will take place. It is hoped that this analysis will give the software the ability to predict accurately the next colour after a sequence of loosing spins. If that is the case then this indeed will be a money maker.
For your interest, I ran the software in Fun Play mode last night and won £1000 over a 2 hour period, with the software having to refer to the analysis 4 times and it got it right 4 times. OK it was not real money but this is the kind of scenario that they are hoping to reproduce with REAL MONEY. There will be some limitations on how much you can win and what casinos you can use it on but I think that is to keep us below the 'radar' of the casinos so that they do not cancel our accounts.
Give it a try, even at $300 the potential to win is very great.

Well, I have been collecting casino roulette spins for the Money Maker Machine now for approx a month. I have managed to collect nearly 4.5 million numbers. The total number collected by all the members is over 70 million! The Admin reckons that if he can gather a certain number of 'spins' for each of 3 casinos he will be able to predict with 100% accuracy what the next colour will be. In fact he is able to do this with the 'Fun Mode' play at the moment. He is working on the 'Real Money' play now.
It is hoped we will have gathered enough numbers to make this analysis possible by the end of this week. Then the testing begins. It will certainly be interesting if it works. That is why it is called the "Money Making Machine". If it runs as well in Real Mode as it does in Fun Play then it will be really effective in winning at on-line Roulette.
Curious about it? Click the logo on the right and have a look. It is all explained and the Admin has indicated that the price will be increasing dramatically once the Real Play has been developed successfully. You can download a demo version for free. Try it out and play in Fun Mode, you have nothing to loose (except a bit of time).
There is a very active Forum where the discussions range from the mathematics of Random Number Generators to Scams to doubts about if the program will work etc.etc.
It is definitely worth having a look.

Well things are definitely happening over at MMM. We are collecting numbers at the moment and have nearly reached our target. I personally have collected nearly 3.5 million numbers covering 3 casinos. The Administrator is beginning to let out details as to how the whole thing will operate, although it is still a bit vague. I am trying to get to grips with it all, but it is definitely worth getting into at this stage. The cost WILL go up once the tool has proved it's worth. At present the Admin does NOT recommend trying to use real money with this tool. In fun mode you can easily make hundreds in an hour and there is now a simulator mode that allows you to test things out in real mode without actually spending any cash. At present my cash deposits at these casinos has been absolutely zero. The system is still proving itself and testing is going on as to how to use it.

Does this button annoy anybody else? I click on it and it takes me to another , so called random, blog. The trouble is that it is very often in another language. Not much good to me!! Then, if you are going through a whole stack of blogs, the same ones keep appearing. Several times in fact. So it strikes me as not really being very random and a pain in the butt if you cannot specify that you want a specific language.
Just my 2 bits worth!!

Am I the only one? Looking at the hit map would suggest not. Who knows. Is the Blog that boring, with no pictures and no regular updates as to what I am doing or thinking. Suggestions anybody?

Well I am about to go on my Summer Holiday. A week lying on a Turkish beach relaxing. I hope I like it. I normally go in a caravan down to England but that is a bit soggy at the moment, due to the recent floods.
Talk to you when I get back.

Oh, the unpredictability of those horses when they are racing. You would think that when they are fourth in the last furlong they would have the decency to stay there instead of going and winning !!! (grin) OK I think you can guess what I am leading up to.
2 days on the trot (if you will pardon the pun) I suffered 2 winners that I had backed to loose. It wiped out all my profits and forced the Stop Loss trigger to kick in and prevent any further losses.
Then, yesterday, the opposite happened. Everything went to plan and the Stop Profit trigger kicked in when I have reached my maximum daily profit target. Why have one of them, well it can be very frustrating to build up a nice profit throughout the course of the day, to see it wiped out by a loosing bet right at the end. I set myself a maximum daily limit and said I would not be greedy as risk always involves a gamble and you can loose the lot.
If you remember I have had a couple of days where I have had to work had to recover from some losses. If you have made a reasonable profit, take the money and run.
InPlayMaster delivered yesterday and we are back in profit on my starting bank. Not by much so let us hope it can work it's magic today.

Hiya all. Sorry for the length of time since my last Blog. Slapped wrist and all that!!! OK I was just being lazy.
The car is great, I have now done over 2000 miles in it and this coming weekend will be taking it for it's first outing with the caravan. We will be going up to Banchory in Scotland. It is just to the west of Aberdeen. It is an area of the country that I have not been to before so I am looking forward to it. It is about 3 hours from where I live (just to the West of Glasgow) so it should be a good run for the motor.
One thing that I have noticed is that I do not get the mileage out of it that I did with the Peugeot. I used to get 2 weeks out of a tank full but this one has to be refilled each week. Not quite the same amount but still noticeably less miles per tank (and it is a bigger tank!!). The Peugeot used to give me about 40 miles to the gallon. The Kia must be about 35-36. Now that does not sound much but when you do over a 1000 miles a month it adds up. OK I am not doing the heavy miles of a Commercial Salesman but that is basically just commuting to and from work plus a few trips at the weekend.
So much for that moan
The weather outside is glorious and I do not want to be in the office. Where I work has no natural daylight and is cooled by Air Conditioning so I never know what it is like outside till I go home.
The weather is supposed to last till the end of the weekend so I should get some benefit with the caravan. What it will be like next week is another matter.
Anyway byeeee for now.

Looks like I have upset the folks at AdSense. In my efforts/ignorance I have been clicking on the adverts supplied by Google. Silly me. Apparently that is against the rules as it will generate income for me.

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). In the future,we may adjust your payment for any days during which invalid clicks occurred in order to properly credit advertisers for any invalid activity.
As a reminder, any method of generating invalid clicks is strictly prohibited. Invalid clicks include but are not limited to any clicks that are generated through the use of robots, automated clicking tools, manual clicks by a publisher on the publisher's own web pages, or a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads.
If you are clicking on the ads on your web pages for testing purposes, please note that clicking on your own ads or encouraging others to do so for any reason is prohibited, due to the potential for inflation of advertiser costs. Please be assured that there is no need to test the ads on your site, as our specialists review all of our ads to ensure that they meet Google's advertising standards.
If you would like to visit the destination of an ad to view its content or to add it to your filter list, you can use the AdSense Preview Tool, available here:
(I have removed the link)
The Google AdSense preview tool is an addition to the right-click menu for Windows Internet Explorer 6.x, allowing you to preview the ads that may show on any web page. Clicks and impressions from the preview tool are not applied to the advertiser's account. You can click through to the target site without worrying about invalid clicks being generated on your account, and without costing the advertiser for your test clicks.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this email. We will be happy to help in any way we can.

I was actually looking at the adverts. Yes, I admit I was looking at the adverts repeatedly especially as I was trying to change the layout of my Adsense block to show more adverts. Some of them I was looking at as I was interested in what they had to offer.
Be careful all you bloggers, the AdSense Police are watching!!!!
Ah well, knuckles well and truly wrapped!!

I work in IT as I mentioned in my bio. Whilst I don't deal with the hardware issues I do overhear conversations that make the following just have a hint of truth. Enjoy.
15 Ways to Get Real Frustrated With Your PC
I finally figured out this one client.
Since I teach all my clients how to fix and protect their PCs, I couldn’t understand why this one client frequently arrived at my office, broken computer in hand, paying me to fix it.
Every problem he presented was one I taught him how to prevent or fix himself, but it didn’t seem to matter. He was a really nice guy so I would explain the whole procedure again, show him how to do it, make sure he could do before he left my office … but he’d return again – with the same problem or one close to it. He even presented me some real whoppers from time to time. Teaching him was kind of like nailing Jell-O to a tree.
One day it dawned on me: in his mind a PC is supposed to have problems – something is supposed to go wrong or … it’s not right. I know there must be some old proverb written about that kind of mentality but I can’t think of it. If you do, let me know.
So, for those of you who enjoy PC frustration (or want a good laugh) here’s what you can do:
1. Instead of shutting down your PC, just flick the power switch on the back of the tower.
2. When you’re on the Internet, click “yes” or “ok” to everything that pops onto your screen, regardless of what you’re agreeing to.
3. Visit as many sex, gambling, and related sites as you can.
4. Download everything you can find on the Internet as long as it’s free.
5. Open every email and email attachment, no matter who it’s from.
6. DO NOT have your firewall turned on in your Windows XP and, certainly, do not install a firewall program for other versions of Windows.
7. NEVER update Windows with the latest patches and fixes.
8. DO NOT install an anti-virus program, and – if you have one – don’t update it or use it to scan your computer for viruses. Ever.
9. DO NOT install an anti-Spyware program on your computer.
10. NEVER clean your mouse or keyboard.
11. DO NOT have a good surge protector to plug in your computer, monitor, and other peripherals. Instead, use a six-outlet extension lead so that power surges, brownouts, and blackouts really do some damage.
12. Smoke, eat, and drink at your computer and make sure you dribble your drink, and drop your food, and flick your ashes on the keyboard. A lot.
13. Keep your tower out in the main area of the house -- where the pets shake themselves a lot -- so the hair clogs up your fan and other fragile parts of your computer.
14. Bang on your tower and monitor – A LOT -- to get them to go faster.
15. Call the help desk from work with a home computer problem. Make sure you’re on a 5-minute break.

Sigh!! Just when you thought you were getting a handle on this thing it goes and proves you wrong. I suppose that is the fun with gambling. Nothing is guaranteed and even the so called 'experts' get it wrong. Still, persevere, they say and you should come out on top. Eventually, maybe!!!!! Don't hold your breath.

Well, this horse racing lay betting is not going to earn me a fortune at the size of bets I place (£2) but it is slowly increasing. Thanks to the lay site on the left (for an explanation of it all you will have to go to the very first pages on the blog) and some lucky selections I am ahead of the game. I don't do all the horses he suggests, in fact I only did 3 on Saturday but they all lost and I made my stake back (less commission). So if I lay £2 and the horse loses then I get £2 added to my account. I know it is small fry but I do not want to get to the point where it is big money that I cannot afford to loose. Always only bet what you can afford to loose is what I keep reading, and it is sound advice.
He also has a backing blog. I may look at that as well. The risks are greater, but so are the rewards. The trouble is there is no guarantee with any of this. All the sites I have seen appear to have loosing streaks at some stage, be it 2 or 3 races you can still loose all your previous profit.
It's your choice and your money. The above implies no guarantees and is only indicative of how I am doing.

Labels: horses, lay betting, what really wins money
Well, OK, I admit it I have been slowly getting into the various schemes for betting on Horses & Football matches (Soccer to you Yanks (Grin)). Hence some of the links to the left. The horses have been the most successful but none of them are very consistent.
I have been looking at various schemes but quite frankly most of them are little more than guesswork (well on my part that is). I am sure they mean something to somebody, but I am the proverbial rookie and am still coming to terms with the terminology yet alone anything else. Anybody come across a simple system that does not require you to be sitting at your PC as the race is about to start?
There are numerous web sites offering the 'Golden Fleece' ie win £5,000 every month, without any knowledge of horses. Well, I match the latter part but not the former!!!!
I limit myself to small bets which don't cost me too much (and don't win too much either!!) but it is too easy to get sucked into this gambling lark. I think I will stay on the edges and live with my £5 bets.

Well, after much deliberation and a couple of visits to my local Kia garage, I have finally plumped to lease a Kia Sorento CRDi XE diesel. The paper work is in progress and, barring any issues with my credit status, I should have a new vehicle withing about 2 weeks. Yay!!!!!! Anybody want to buy a 6 year old Peugeot 406 HDi Estate Rapier (90BHP)?
The local garage couldn't match what the lease firms could and this way I don't have to find a substantial deposit and have a finance agreement for the next 5 years (again). I did my last car for 5 years and it really is a long time to keep a car. What with depreciation, running costs etc. The lease will be an interesting experiment. If I don't like it, I only have 2 years with the car, if I do like it then I can get a new one every 2 or 3 years.
I am not bothered whether I actually own the car, as long as I have access to one.
My wife is on my case though, as I HAVE to sell the old car quickly. When I bought it my previous car took ages to sell and she was doing her nut in with it parked in front of the house. Once I get a date for the new one I suppose I will need to start advertising it locally.
